Last week on Friday 13th of November we had our St James School Athletics up at the Massey Track.A highlight for me was the High Jump because its fun?.Something I found challenging was the Hurdle's because the ones at the Massey track were meatal.

WALT: Follow an inquiry process.
This term we have been learning about China, we have continued building on the inquiry skills we have leart in term 2. We brainstormed open questions as a class and then delegated these out to pairs. The part of China Beth, Izzy, Krista, Zeppelin and I were finding out more about was Chinas History. We found our infomation on the internet and from books. We used a data chart to make sure we triangulated all our information so we knew it was true. We then used movie maker to present our inquiry. Something I enjoyed was thinking of a script and filming because I enjoy acting and writing. My next learning step in inquiry is to write down my facts in key words.

WALT:Present the infomation I have learn't during my inqiry simply and clearly so that others can gain the most inportant infomation from my presentation. This voicethread explains what I have learnt during my inquiry on the Kakapo. somthing I think I did really well during this inquiry process was finding information and presenting it because I put my information in my own words & i personly think that my drawing was excepional. Next time I do an inqiry somthing i could improve on is my speaking because in this voicethread my voice was fast and muffeld. The part I liked best about doing an inqiry was getting info because now i know way more about the Kakapo.

The Kakapo

WALT:follow an inquiry process. The bird I want to learn more about is the Kakapo. I chose it because there are only 92 Kakapo left in the world and hopfully not but if they come to be extinct it would be useful to know about them.

WALT: how Jesus life was one of love for God and people. As part of RE and Holy Week, we have been learning about how Jesus lived a life of love - Aroha for God and people. Jesus calls us to live a life of love just like he did. This comic life shows ways we can be Jesus example of love.
